KV56

KV56
   An undecorated single-chamber tomb in the Valley of the Kings known as the Gold Tomb. It was discovered by Edward Ayrton in January 1906. Gold and silver jewelry was recovered bearing the names Sety II and Queen Tewosret. It has been speculated that this was material from the queen’s tomb or perhaps that the tomb belonged to a child of the royal couple.
